汪明會

汪明會不是人名, 是兩位新交的朋友。 會指的是我們上週的首次碰面。 成為朋友全因大家都秉持自由市場的信念。

今後香港自由市場的存廢,就要看他們的努力了。

Angela:

The introductory game theory book which you should bring along with you is called Thinking Strategically by A. Dixit and B. Nalebuff, and a good, solid introductory book you should also bring is Tom Sowell's Knowledge and Decision.

Ming:

The best collection of Hayek's technical economic papers can be found in his Individualism and Economic Order.

I so much wish that I was part of 汪明會. May be next time. (smile)

Looks like Angela and Ming have some great books to check out. I am going to freeload on Angela and Ming and wait for their 雞精書/notes after they read and summarize the main points. (smile)

Speaking about books, here is one more by Barry J. Nalebuff and Adam M. Brandenburger -- "Co-Opetition : A Revolution Mindset That Combines Competition and Cooperation : The Game Theory Strategy That's Changing the Game of Business"

Here is my mini-review of the book some years ago.

P.S. Just curious.
Is the title of your blog come from Hayek's "Law, Legislation and Liberty" - "The function of the judge is confined to a spontaneous order."

Or they are unrelated or from somewhere else?

Dear Gary, thank you very much for the "shopping list"! They are in my shopping cart now!

I said this before, and I am going to say it again: it was really a great pleasure meeting you!

Please take good care!
