Most people that I have encountered, once they realize that I study economics, they will immediately ask me what is my view on stock markets, trends of exchange rate...I usually simply respond with a smile...
Seriously, if I am so smart as to be able to predict such trends, I would be extremely rich already by now, wouldn't I?
One time my brother asked, do you think the stock market will continue its uptrend.

個人感受較深的是，「有人誤會你是市場專家，應作出嚴正聲明—估計短期貨幣、股票和期貨價格，並非你的專業範圍」。自進研究院始，不知何解親友總是要求評論股樓，若以通脹、貨幣政策答之，即一哄而散。
在書局，每見經濟欄目之下盡是投資書籍，皆感戚然。
